Fees are subject to change. Fees are time based, reflective of the actual time spent with the doctor and/or nurse, not the time booked. Patients are therefore encouraged to be mindful of the time spent with the doctor.
A Medicare rebate, calculated based on the time spent with the doctor only (not the nurse), will apply to Medicare card holders for Medicare covered consultations. Patients registered with Dr Aligiannis through My Medicare will be entitled to additional Medicare rebates. A Medicare rebate will only apply to phone consultations for patients who have visited the practice for a face-to-face service in the last 12 months or for patients registered with Dr Aligiannis through My Medicare.
The fees for general medical consultations and specialised services are outlined below. We encourage patient to contact the practice on 90116709 to check if any fees are payable on the day of your consultation.
We accept payment by cash, direct deposit, credit card, debit card or through the HotDoc app.
Most general medical services will be eligible for a Medicare Rebate which reduces the patient’s out-of-pocket cost. Several consultations, however, may not be covered by Medicare and will attract a private fee including commercial driving medicals and non-government forms. Workers’ compensation and third-party claims are also not covered by Medicare and a fee is payable on the day of the consultation until the employer’s insurer accepts the claim.

We offer in-person, video, and telephone appointments. Standard appointments for regular patients with one concern are 15 minutes long. For patients with multiple concerns or childhood immunizations, longer consultations are available. New patients are allocated 30 minutes with Dr. Penelope Aligiannis.
