Welcome to Your Padstow Doctors Plus.

We are committed to providing you the highest standard of care by providing a holistic evidence-based approach and treating all patients with dignity and respect.

Please expect your first appointment at Your Padstow Doctors Plus to take at least 45 minutes in total.

This will involve arriving 15 minutes prior to your appointment time with your Doctor to browse through the Practice Information and to complete registration forms relating to:
– your personal demographic details (required)
– your consent to participate in the SMS, email or HotDoc online booking app (optional)
– your consent to collect personal information about you and how it will be used (optional)
– your health history (preferred)
– your consent to transfer records from your previous doctor or specialists (optional)

Completion of these forms will assist the administration and medical staff to properly assess, diagnose, treat and be proactive with your health care needs. Please understand that your explicit written consent/refusal is required in accordance with the The Privacy Act 1988, the Australian Privacy Principles, the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) Standards for General Practices (5th edition) and our Privacy Policy.

All new patients are allocated 30 minutes with the Doctor. This will involve addressing your concerns, as well as (with your permission) gathering details about your health history for our records. In order to document accurate information, please bring with you any medication you take, any relevant investigations (pathology tests, imaging etc) and any record of your health history. During your visit, your doctor will also provide you the opportunity to have a general physical examination of your blood pressure, height and weight and to discuss preventative health care activities.

Given the duration and complexity of the first appointment, please understand that it may be challenging to accommodate for this initial appointment. We understand that, at times, you will need to see a doctor for an urgent matter, therefore, please be aware that reception staff may need to gather some clinical information to provide you with a more timely appointment to address the urgent matter, or to refer you to hospital. Please be advised that reception staff are trained in basic triage in General Practice, and are bound by patient confidentiality.

Fees are applicable and payable on the day of your consultation. Information about the fees can be found on our website or by phoning reception.

Thank you for showing interest in our service, and we look forward to seeing you soon.
