At Your Padstow Doctors Plus, appointments are preferred, however walk-in patients are welcome for urgent matters.

Please note that it is a condition of entry that all patients, carers and visitors must wear a mask.

Please visit our Fees page for information about our fees. Any invoices will be emailed to you for payment within 30 days.

It is recommended that appointments are booked ahead of time, so that reception staff can do their best to accommodate your preferred appointment time and day.

Patients who walk-in without an appointment may be expected to wait to see a doctor, unless it is urgent or an emergency. Please notify reception staff if this is the case.

We understand that, at times, you will need to see a doctor for an urgent matter, therefore, same day appointments are available to accommodate for these urgent matters. Please be aware that reception staff may need to gather some clinical information to provide you with a timely appointment or refer you to hospital.  Please be advised that reception staff are trained in basic triage in General Practice, and are bound by patient confidentiality.

Please be aware that medical staff will always endeavour to run on time, however, from time to time, unavoidable delays happen, such as in an emergency. To help with time management, please ensure you book a Long Consultation appointment type if you have more than one concern. If you would like to discuss the care of multiple family members, please ensure you book a separate appointment for each member. If you feel you are deteriorating, please phone and notify reception staff urgently. Otherwise, feel free to phone us to see how many patients are ahead of you. We apologise in advance for any delay, and kindly request your patience in these circumstances. If you feel you will be unable to wait, please notify reception staff, who will arrange an alternative appointment for you.

Standard appointments are 15 minutes long with Dr Penelope Aligiannis. Longer appointments are available on request, so please ask reception staff if you would like a longer appointment.

Longer appointments are preferred for new patients, health assessments, work cover or third party claims, care plans (including chronic disease management plans and mental health care plans), childhood immunisations, intravenous iron infusions, driving medicals, work medicals, Centrelink forms, National Disability Service forms, and for patients with multiple concerns.
